Remarkable Tour de Arrowtown: A Remarkable Scenic Tours and Arrowtown Bike Hire Combo
- 天數: 8 小時 (左右)
- 位置: Arrowtown
Small group tour specialists Remarkable Scenic Tours will
collect you from your Queenstown accommodation where you will join them for a
premium tour to Lake Hayes (the mirror lake) and then
onto Arrowtown. Your experienced local guide will include an
informative drive past the Chinese Village, the old Gaol (Arrowtowns’
historic Jail) and Saint Mary Mackillop's convent whilst pointing out the best
photo locations for you to visit. You will have time to explore historic
Arrowtown and its amazing shops, perhaps grab a coffee before meeting
the team at Arrowtown Bike Hire to collect your rental bike. Why just look at
the scenery when you can ride through it!
At Arrowtown Bike Hire you will receive a comprehensive trail
briefing before being fitted with a premium bike. Being a self guided ride, you
will have the freedom to explore so we will discuss and point out options to
visit local sights, the Bungy bridge and/or vineyards where you can enjoy wine
tasting with lunch options (own expense).
We will recommend the Arrow River Bridges Trail. On this
fantastic cycle trail you meander beside two rivers, cross amazing bridges,
pass historic cottages and bike through scenic farmland with mountain views
until you arrive at the historic Kawarau (Bungy) Bridge build in 1880. Here you
can take time to view the bungy jumpers as they leap into thin air. You may
choose to explore and experience the best local wine tasting in the
Gibbston Wine region, stop at one of the many restaurant options before heading
back to Arrowtown to again meet Remarkable Scenic Tours to complete your tour
back into Queenstown.
Don’t panic if you run out of puff during your bike ride, we
will discuss pickup locations should you need our Bikers Shuttle Rescue!
